Greene County magistrate court, week ending Sept. 12

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Clay Thomas Paulson of Grand Junction after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of alcohol under age. He was fined $200 with a $70 surcharge. Court costs were $110.14. Paulson was originally charged with providing alcohol to persons under age, 16 counts.

A judgment was entered against Jared Dean Dennhardt of Jefferson on a charge of interference with official acts. He was fined $250 with an $87.50 surcharge. Court costs were $60.

In Greene County magistrate court cases were initiated as follows: Nastassia Chanel Goff of Grand Junction, trespass and interference with official acts; and two separate cases against Richard Dean Tuhn Jr of Grand Junction on charges of violation of a no contact order.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Sept. 12 as follows: *Jonathon Reimers Stout of Des Moines, failure to maintain control, $200; Doyle Elmar Roberts of Scranton, operation without registration, $50; and Kimberly Ann Roeder of Jefferson, unsafe backing on highway, $100.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): Craig Michael Cuddy of Jefferson.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Dylan Richard Smith of Coon Rapids and Bryan Joseph Dale of Ames.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Allan Scott VanWyk of Searsboro, Jenell Lee Conroy of Jefferson, Nathaniel W. Hoffman of Grand Junction, Patrick William Pagel of Muscatine, and Michael James Weidemeier of Carroll.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Colin Douglas Straight of Urbandale, speed, $20; *Chance Michael Morrison of Madrid, possession of alcohol under age, 200; *Jacob Stanley Eischeid of Jefferson, speed, paid $40 fine and $20 of surcharge/court costs, judgment entered for $59 remaining surcharge/court costs;

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
